Use of the rescue boat

At least 3 people required: One in rescue boat and two to assist in launching, carriage and recovery.

The inflatable dinghy rescue boat is kept in the metal shed located at the end of the terraced bungalows. The pump, oars, bailer and life jackets are kept in the boat.

The boat must be fully inflated before launching and the crew must wear a life jacket.

The inflatable must be launched from the club main jetty or from one of the fishing stages.

Whilst boarding and exiting the inflatable it must be held securely by the bow and stern ropes.

After use the inflatable and all equipment must be cleaned and left to dry before being returned to storage.

No other boat is to be used.
